Carbon is the future of the foundation, and BNT is not integral to Carbon. There is no real purpose for BNT anymore beyond voting here. ILP should be turned back on so the remaining people in v3 can withdrawal. The value of the token will go down but everyone can get out of v3.
If Carbon ever needs a token, new token can be made that won’t need to be burned forever.

A $40M sell would net us $10M USD or so. That’s not enough to back fill the deficit fully.
