Proposal to start sunsetting Bancor V3

I created 20 proposals to have these tokens disabled should they be in surplus now or in the future. I am requesting voting to happen tomorrow as I consider it an urgent matter.

There are 34 tradingEnabled pools, correct? Will the others get submitted for next week?

Appears CROWN is 6% surplus but not disabled. Do we have an agreement with them to keep trading Enabled? @glenn

Are we planning props for the other 14:

I can but I might not get to it until next week. Other Bancorians can also copy and paste my previous proposals to have this voted on by the DAO.

I’ll get them up before Wed. I think vBNT needs to stay open but I’d like to get only Surplus left behind so might take some discussion

I think we should give special consideration to ETH to avoid any unexpected consequences.

I am all for turning off the pool, but I would prefer ETH has it’s own proposal where we consider some options.

Off the top of my head:

Perhaps we wait until surplus is 5% than just move LP ETH off curve while leaving ETH BNT active to make sure BNT has on-chain liquidity and the fast lane can continue to operate.

Again, while I don’t think we should spend time on custom stuff for each pool - I think we should carefully consider the ETH pool.

I’m more worried about non-primordial pools that have a chance to close out in the near future. Will have to see if Fast Lane is even needed if/when ETH is out of deficit. Hopefully all TVL will be on Carbon by then.
But yes, vBNT will be proposing something similar. Not a total shutdown but a TL redction while remaining open

Most recently, the vBNT pool was also closed in a state of surplus.

There is really not much to do here as the pools will automatically closed once they are in a state of surplus. In Bancor v3 the majority of the pools have already closed in a state of surplus and there are about ~12 or so remaining.

Moving this proposal to archived for now.
