Thanks for putting this all together, agree with the approach as it starts the process by “skimming” the excesses off the top where available. That window will continue to open as Carbon gets running and the increased value of BNT (generally from the burning mechanism) forces more of the surplus to the top, where this future process collects and removes more of V2/V3.
To add to this, I’ll get back to my notes I had on what I put together from a few weeks ago (Updating the DAO due process). Seems like with this proposal coming together it can bridge the gap I hit on how to treat V2/V3 procedures while they were technically still active. Rethinking through this to form some bridge scaffolding to an updated DAO will be useful.
