### This proposal is expected to appear on Snapshot for voting on 2021-11-21T12:00:00Z. Make sure to stake your vBNT for voting before this date and time to participate in the DAO decision.

**To pass, this proposal requires 35% quorum and 66.7% supermajority on the Bancor DAO Snapshot.**

# TLDR

- This proposal seeks to increase the Co-investment limit from **100k BNT** to **200k BNT** for the RNB/BNT pool.
- A larger RNB/BNT pool will reduce price impact and therefore attract more trades from retail users, aggregators, and professional market makers to Bancor.

# Rationale

There’s currently space for 23,053 RNB ($42,186.99) in the pool. The Uniswap v2 RNB-ETH pool has a liquidity of $1,417,443 [1], and the RNB-BNT pool on Bancor has a liquidity of $905,921.

The current co-investment limit is 100k BNT. If we increase this limit to 200k BNT, that would allow for at least an extra $400,000 worth of RNB to be staked single-sided. This would allows us to have the deepest RNB pool on Ethereum and attract more volume to Bancor.

# Abstract

There are currently **~111k BNT** and **~245K RNB** tokens in the BNT-RNB [pool](https://etherscan.io/address/0x4625cf0ad5688ecb8b87a3edac0c2065a5bea85f). This has resulted in a pool that has roughly **~$900k** in liquidity.
