# Liquidity Mining Sub-Category

This sub-category of LEVEL\_1 is specific for liquidity mining proposals. There is a [default template](https://docs.google.com/document/d/1B-z6K6bUZSY96MqhK1N1w2tjb4lG7nKhNRJvJEFPK8A/edit?usp=sharing) associated with liquidity mining proposals, which should be followed as carefully as possible.

# Liquidity Mining is a Marketing Vehicle

Liquidity mining is a device to attract new communities, and grow the TVL of the network. The choice of which pool to incentivize is critical, and should be clearly justified.
